Adele won at the Grammys and accepted the award from “best friend” Dwayne Johnson

Adele became emotional as she took the stage at the Grammy Awards after winning the Best Pop Solo Performance category.

The singer and songwriter was doubly surprised as it was his new bestie Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who handed him the gramophone.

The Grammy winner then gave background on what inspired the song, saying, “I wrote this first verse in the shower when I was choosing to change my son’s life and he was nothing but humble and kind and loving to me the whole time.”

Adele was totally in the moment of giving her acceptance speech when she dropped an f-bomb that exploded from the telecast.

“I’d love for a piano ballad to win any kind of award because it’s so old school and so bold,” he said. “Love all you artists, I love you.”
