heart unit Trauma follows a highly skilled team of surgeons and nurses who rush into the field to treat patients who cannot reach the hospital in time. When the sick and injured cannot go to the ER, the heart unit (Hospital Urgent Response Team) brings them to the ER.

Mackenzie will play Danny, a self-made surgeon and head of the elite heart unit. He must make split-second decisions in the most dangerous situations, often risking his own life. While undoubtedly a hero, Dani is also a pathological risk-taker who seems headed for a serious comeback. His deepest bond is with his teammates—first-class professionals who share his passion, some would say obsession, for saving lives.
Lopez, Glenn and Webb executive produced the ABC signature pilot.
