‘Don’t Succe’: VMI Worldwide Boards Jamie Kennedy Vampire Comedy and Releases First Trailer — EFM
Exclusive: VMI Worldwide has acquired world rights to the vampire comedy don’t suck from American Sicario Director RJ Collins and will sell the film at the upcoming European Film Market. Scroll down for the trailer below.
The film stars Jamie Kennedy, who plays Pete, a retired veteran comedian who must find an opener for his upcoming comedy tour. Pete is introduced to Ethan (Matt Rife) by his girlfriend Stephanie (Ellen Holman), who convinces him to take the young comedian on tour as his opener.
When Pete learns that Ethan is a vampire, things start to take a confusing turn and their tour goes from cheap motels, early morning DJs, dive bars and diners to opening for a Russell Peters special in Vegas. While Ethan and Pete try to bridge the gap between being real and absorbing his vampirism.

The deal was negotiated by JD Beaufils on behalf of VMI and RJ Collins.
