Evan Rachel Wood, Josh Gad and Anthony Carrigan set for murder mystery ‘The Adults’ from filmmaker Alex Winter – EFM
Actor-turned-filmmaker Alex Winter (Showbiz Kids) unraveled the mystery of the murder adultsStarring Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld), Josh Gad (Avenue 5) and Anthony Carrigan (barry), as his next project behind the camera, also plans to star in the film
The film is written by novelist Michael MB Galvin — who has previously adapted his own works Fat kid rules the world And Freaky talk about sex for the big screen — follows siblings Megan (Wood) and Nathan (Gad), who, like the rest of us, are barely hanging on in present-day America. Their lives are completely turned upside down when they discover a body, long buried in their parents’ basement, sending them down a rabbit hole of crime and murder.
Winter will produce with Scott Cruff of Many Rivers Productions (The Wonderful Adventures of Bill and Ted, unlimited) and Russell Hollander (trespassing, love day), with Connie Tavel (Admit it, Fletch, Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey) to serve as executive producer.
CAA Media Finance is financing the film and will soon begin sales at EFM 2023 in Berlin with Rocket Science.

Wood recently starred opposite Daniel Radcliffe in Roku’s viral hit Weird: The Al Yankovic StoryPlaying the role of Madonna. He also helmed the recent series for HBO Westworld, earning two Emmy noms, a Golden Globe nom, a Critics’ Choice Television Award and other accolades for her performance as Dolores Abernathy, a Westworld amusement park android with a mind of her own. The actress is also known for her acclaimed performances in HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce and of Catherine Hardwicke thirteen, among many other projects. An adaptation of Anna Funder’s WWII-era book is for Wood I am all that, In which he will star alongside Eliza Scanlen, Rufus Sewell and Vanessa Redgrave.
