FredRator Network to develop ‘Land of Bogs’ and other BuzzFeed Animation Lab IP series

Exclusive: BuzzFeed’s original digital properties are getting the longform treatment.

Original digital features from the publisher’s BuzzFeed Animation Labs unit such as Boggs land To be developed as a longform series by digital channel operator Frederator Networks.

Frederator Studios will be the global sales agent for the content, and Genius Brands International’s consumer products division will develop a retail program with BuzzFeed. Genius Brands is the parent owner of Frederator, WOW! Unlimited media.

The Land of BogsA zany buddy comedy with over 10 million followers on social media, this is the first to evolve.

Features eg Good advice cupcakes, which is an aggressively optimistic pastry and has 6 million followers; Little sister comedy Weird Helga (9 million followers); and titles including gender Thin nuggets (9 million followers) is also under consideration.
