German-based Port au Prince Film hires former DCM producer
German-based distribution and production company Port-au-Prince Film & Culture Productions has hired Roshank “Rosh” Khodabkhash as a producer and member of the executive board.
Khodabkhash will start the role from March 1. One of his tasks will be to further expand and lead the company’s Berlin branch.
Khodabakhsh most recently spent three years at German distributor-producer DCM, where he was a producer. Prior to DCM, Khodabkhash spent six years as a freelance production coordinator and production manager on projects such as Netflix. Sense8of UFA Charitableand the X film series Babylon Berlin. He has also worked with directors like Tom Tykwer, Sonke Wortman, Fatih Akin.Golden Glove), Jan Schomberg (divine), and Ilya Kharzhanovsky (dau)
Port au Prince producer and managing director Jan Kruger previously collaborated with Khodabakhsh in 2009 on Ali Samadi-Ahadi’s Grimm Award-winning doc green wave.

In Hamburg, where Port au Prince established a second branch in 2021, filming is currently underway on German filmmaker Matthias Glasner’s latest project, starring Lars Eidinger, Lilith Stangenberg, Corina Herfouch, Ronald Zehrfeld, Saskia Rosendahl and Robert Giesdeck.
Alongside Jan Krüger, Senator Film’s Wolf Israel and Matthias Glasner are producing, with ZDF and ARTE co-producing. The film’s German distribution and worldwide sales are handled by Wild Bunch
