Long associated with allegations of sexual and physical abuse, human rights abuses, and fraud, the true extent of Gloriavale’s crimes and the brutality of its leaders are revealed as prepared families lose their homes, their communities, and those they love for a chance. The film was selected for the Cannes Film Festival’s docs-in-progress program and debuted at the New Zealand International Film Festival before receiving a theatrical release from Limelight Distribution in Australia and New Zealand late last year. The doc is a Forward Media and Grade A Films production. Richard Fletcher is executive producer.
