Henry Goulding to star in Nacho Vigalondo’s Madrid-set sci-fi romance ‘Daniella Forever’ – EFM

Exclusive: Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asian) is all set to star in the sci-fi romance Daniela ForeverA new film by Spanish filmmaker Nacho Vigalondo (huge), which XYZ is financing and launching for sale on EFM.

Daniela Forever, which is set to shoot in Madrid, Spain this spring/summer, will see Goulding play a man struggling to come to terms with the sudden death of his girlfriend in an accident six months ago. So, he signs up for a sleep trial that allows him to reconstruct his life with her through the use of lucid dreams.

Nahikari Ipiña and Nacho Vigalondo are producing at Sayaka Producciones, with Benoit Roland at Wrong Men, Leire Apellaniz at Señor y Señora, and XYZ Films.

“This movie is built around a deeply human character caught up in a twisted plot, something so perfect for Henry Golding that it almost seems unreal,” says Vigalondo. “I’m excited for the team gathered around this project, and I hope the story delivers what I want to say about love, dreams and Madrid.”

Crazy Rich Asian And Simple grace Star Goulding just wrapped filming for Netflix The Old Guard 2 opposite Charlize Theron and Uma Thurman and starring in the thriller Assassin’s Club For Paramount. He later reteamed with Guy Ritchie in WW2 Ministry of Civil War.

Nacho Vigalondo is the best known Timecrime, intelligent aliens And huge Starring Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis.
