Investigation Discovery signs development deal with Elizabeth Chambers and host of EP series on toxic relationship
TV host and journalist Elizabeth Chambers is set to headline a series about toxic and traumatic relationships as part of a development deal with the network to discover the investigation.
Hosted and executive produced by Armie Hammer’s ex-wife Chambers, the series will explore the complexities of toxic and traumatic relationships and shed light on long-held secrets, generational trauma and deep-rooted psychological issues by investigating them through interviews and first-hand accounts. The as-yet-untitled series aims to “empower victims with control of their own narratives,” according to the Survivors Network.
“We’re big fans of Elizabeth and know this new series will resonate with our passionate true crime audience,” said Jason Sarlanis, president of Turner Networks, ID and HLN, linear and streaming. “Elizabeth brings a unique empathy to help elevate the voice of victims that aligns perfectly with ID’s mission to use her platform to share powerful stories of hope, resilience and survival.”
