Jonathan Majors Wants Robert Downey Jr. to Recast Iron Man in ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’
Jonathan Majors entered the MCU as the next major villain as Kang the Conqueror Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania.
looking ahead Avengers: Kang DynastyMajors recently revealed that he wants to share the big screen with Robert Downey Jr.
“So Kang dynasty – I can’t even think about it because I’m so excited [Quantumania] – But Kang dynasty I think it has the potential to further the mythology of Kang, the curiosity of Kang, which is very exciting,” the actor said. Lifehacker Australia.
“It’s like a Robert Downey Jr. day, he’s just popping [to my head]” added Major. “Like, I know he’s an OG. I mean, he’s one of the originals. I’m such a big fan of him as an actor. I think what he did with Iron Man was a gift to the culture.”
He continued, “I would love to see him on screen to see how our philosophies, acting-wise and character-wise, match up in person. You know, I think he’s such an interesting artist, which is why Iron Man is so interesting. His portrayal of Iron Man is very interesting and he represents a very clear world view and power of the Avengers. And I think Kang represents a different era.”
Avengers: Endgame Up until that point there were endings for the main characters but with the opening of the Multiverse, the possibilities are endless as the MCU enters Phase 5.
