Justin Bieber, Kodak Sue Black West Hollywood After-Party Shooting – Update

Updated, February 11, 2023: Justin Bieber and Kodak Black are among those sued by two men who claim they were shot outside a West Hollywood party last year.

Black fled the scene after the incident, but later called police from a nearby location to report that he had been shot. It is not clear if he was hospitalized or if there are any charges against him.

Footage captured by TMZ shows Kodak Black leaving the party with a group and fellow rapper Gunna. In the footage, they pause for fans’ photos. As the paparazzi circled, a fistfight broke out nearby, the Kodak Black Party retreating to the sidewalk where it stood. The moment is then interrupted by 10 gunshots and the ensuing clash.

Capri, born Duson Octave, has an extensive criminal record. He was sentenced to prison in 2019 for weapons possession and later pardoned by President Donald Trump.

Black’s reps have yet to comment on his condition or the incident.

Earlier, Saturday: A party after a Justin Bieber concert on the outskirts of West Hollywood turned chaotic on Friday night, as gunfire broke out outside the venue.

Police were dispatched to the 400 block of North La Cienega Boulevard between Beverly Boulevard and Melrose Avenue at 2:45 a.m., according to Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations Officer Drake Madison, City News Service.

“They (witnesses) heard a fight outside, when multiple shots were fired,” Madison said. Bieber was not involved and there is no indication that he was aware of the events.

TMZ claims the fight took place outside The Nice Guy restaurant near the Pacific Design Center, where Bieber was performing a concert. The audience reportedly included Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake, Tobey Maguire, Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian.

Among the injured were a 19-year-old man, a 60-year-old man and possibly a 24-year-old man who fled the scene. The first two injured were taken to hospital. A third victim later called police to report that he had been shot.

No arrests were made.
