Miramax TV David R. Tapped Shraga to head business and legal affairs
As SVP for the studio’s global television operations and head of business and legal affairs, David R. Miramax TV is strengthening its executive ranks with the addition of Shraga. Shraga will report to Mark Helwig, Head of Global TV, and is responsible for all domestic and international co-production relationships, on top of contract development, licensing and distribution agreements.
Shraga is overseeing production in London of Guy Ritchie’s scripted series the gentleman for Netflix UK, and has overseen production in Istanbul Turkish intelligenceFirst Hollywood international drama series produced in Istanbul for Paramount+.
Before moving to Miramax, Shraga rose through the ranks at Universal Studios Group and NBC Entertainment. In his most recent role as Vice President of Business Affairs, he oversaw policy and strategy along with negotiating talent, development, production, licensing and distribution deals for all US and global scripted television series for the studio’s portfolio of international production companies. .
Notable projects included Clickbait For Netflix; Award winner We are Lady Parts Channel 4 (UK) and Peacock; The Grand Crew For NBC; child’s play For USA/Syfy; attack which ran for three seasons on Amazon; The story of the city For Netflix, and A family friend For Peacock and Documentary Series Case against Adnan Syed For HBO.
