Oscar-nominated music stars to talk about their craft at Songwriters Hall of Fame event
It’s all about the beat, beat, beat, someone once mentioned rock n’ roll. Some say it all starts with music.
The truth of those statements will likely be revealed on Monday, as the Songwriters Hall of Fame celebrates this year’s Oscars -Nominated songwriters with an all-star virtual event, “A Conversation with the 2023 Oscar-Nominated Songwriters for Best Original Song,” will be presented on February 13 at 9 a.m. Pacific Time.
The virtual event is free to the public with advance registration required through Eventbrite. It will be available for viewing for a limited time on the Songhall.org website Songwriters Hall of Fame starting Monday.
The Songwriters Hall of Fame’s 7th annual program spotlights the top songwriters who have been nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Original Song category. The event was co-hosted and directed by Hall of Fame inductee Neil Rodgers, who currently serves as Songwriters Hall of Fame chairman, and Paul Williams, 1977 Academy Award winner for Best Original Song for “Evergreen.”
