‘The Night Manager’: Stars Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur to appear on cover of new novel
Exclusive: Night managerIts Indian remake launched this week and its stars will now appear on the cover of the original John Le Carré novel – a first for an Indian series.
Stars Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur will appear in the remake of the novel, which first came out in 1993 after talks on Disney+ Hotstar. Manager rights Owns The Ink Factory and Penguin Random House India.
This is believed to be the first time an Indian series character has appeared in an international bestseller. This adds momentum to the Buzzy series, which launches in India on February 17 on Disney+ Hotstar under the Hotstar Special brand. The show is produced by The Ink Factory and Banijay Asia, with Sandeep Modi as the showrunner.
In the series, Kapoor and Kapoor played by Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddlestone first rose to fame in the 2016 BBC and AMC series. Shovita Dhulipala, Tilotma Shome, Shaswata Chatterjee and Ravi Bahl also star.
The espionage drama follows a hotel manager and ex-soldier who decide to take down an illegal arms dealer.

Le Carre’s sons Nick, Stephen and Simon Cornwell said in a statement: “Moments like this prove how well the story has traveled and how it has resonated around the world. And it’s incredibly exciting to see two of Bollywood’s finest actors, Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, on the cover of the book.”
HSM Entertainment Network’s head of content for Disney + Hotstar and Disney Star Gaurav Banerjee said the deal is “a strong validation of what we’ve done with the Indian version.”
“Night manager Has been a very special project for me. I am a huge fan of the book and for our poster to be based on the cover of the book, we couldn’t have asked for more,” said Kapoor.
