‘Workaholics’ alum Blake Anderson signs CAA
Exclusive: Blake Anderson is a new member this week Workaholics The team will sign with CAA. The actor, comedian, writer and producer is joined there by longtime collaborators Adam Devine and Anders Holm, who signed their contracts last week and through the fall of 2021, respectively.
Anderson, Devine and Holm co-created, wrote, produced and starred in the hit sitcom about college-drop-out roommates working as telemarketers in Rancho Cucamonga, California, which ran for seven seasons on Comedy Central from 2011-2017.
Anderson recently starred in the Hulu comedy series Lamorne Morris and T. Starred opposite Murph woke up, which ran for two seasons. He has voiced several characters in Adult Swim TigtoneMatt’s role in DreamWorks Animation’s Netflix original series Voltron: Legendary DefenderAnd the Charlie part of Tubi The Freak Brothers Along with the divine. He also directed the subsequent series based on the underground comic The Fabulous Furry Freak Brotherswhich became the most-watched program in Tubi’s history when it premiered in 2021 and will return for a second season.
Anderson was part of the critically acclaimed coming-of-age dramedy dope From writer-director Rick Famuyiwa, which premiered at Sundance 2015 and was released in the US by Open Road Films.
